This area of the national park is great for outdoor adventures; Llangorse Lake is only 4.5 miles away where you can hire rowing boats, kayaks, Canadian canoes or fishing boats. Enthusiastic walkers can take advantage of the surrounding hillsides Pen Y Fan is the highest point within the park boasting incredible views and Talybont Reservoir, the River Usk and the Brecon Canal offer a more gentle stroll. Other local activities include climbing, mountain biking and horse riding. BikePark Wales, the beautiful waterfall walks at Pont Nedd Fechan, and Zip World at Tower Colliery are all within a 30 mile radius. There are some lovely market towns close by too, such as Hay on Wye, known as the town of books, Crickhowell, and Brecon, all within 14 miles. Surrounded by countryside within its own grounds, you have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the views as you arrive. Access is through the side of the property into the hub of the home: the farmhouse style kitchen/diner which is open plan and spacious. The kitchen area is modern and well equipped offering everything you may need for preparing meals.
