Guests say

Guests consistently praise the Collfryn cottage for its high standard of accommodation, cleanliness, and idyllic rural setting. The property is celebrated for its comfort, stunning views, and welcoming hosts. The large hot tub is a highlight, and the cottage's charm and atmosphere are frequently mentioned. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Reviewers are unanimous in their appreciation of the cottage's cleanliness, with multiple mentions of the property being 'spotlessly clean' and 'faultlessly clean and comfortable'.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with guests enjoying the rural setting and proximity to nature. However, one mention of a steep and bendy approach road slightly affects the score.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the welcome warm. A single mention of a mattress with a dip suggests a slight room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are generally celebrated, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the hot tub. Some minor maintenance issues like a tricky dishwasher door and a mattress dip are noted, indicating room for slight enhancements.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident from the welcome basket and regular firewood top-ups. While gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

Plenty of local walking. Lovely host and their hot tub was divine.

Olwen was a great host and was so helpful giving us tip of things we could do around the the area with our little ones. Our border collie just loved the area around the cottage, she was in her element. I have to admit, it's one of the best equipped kitchens I've ever seen at a holiday let. Wonderful mini break away for our little family and would certainly stay again in the future.

The house is in a gorgeous location, and it was lovely to sit in the hot tub watching the fog roll down the valley! There were a couple of quirks to the property which, whilst they didn't hamper our enjoyment, could be tweaked to ensure that everything was totally perfect! Firstly, the dishwasher door doesn't close easily, and requires a bit of jiggling and strength. Secondly the mattress in the downstairs bedroom has a decided dip in the centre which meant for some close encounters in the middle of the night ;) However, these would not put us off coming again!
