Following an afternoon of rambling the scenery of Mid Wales, make yourself at home in the open-plan living space, collapsing on the settee and flicking through the TV. Pop the electric fire on and head to the kitchen, home to an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, and fridge, so you can easily conjure up a dish. Gather all at the dining table and discuss the plans for the remainder of the holiday before breaking away to the bedrooms to catch your rest. Start the morning with a rinse in the shower room before enjoying a fresh cup of coffee on the veranda. Choose Great Owl Lodge and experience a relaxing holiday in Mid Wales. Rhayader is a tiny Welsh market town featuring a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, services, and antiques from the area. a recreation centre with a sizable pool and a regular livestock market is an added plus. A must-see site is the Red Kite Feeding Station, which is located outside of the town. The magnificent dams and reservoirs of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys are located in Rhayader, which is the first town on the River Wye. The Elan Valley has a number of walking and cycling paths (Rhayader offers bike rentals), as well as a visitor centre with a café and a play area for kids. With its incredible range of nature reserves available for visitors to enjoy, this area is referred to as the Wildlife Centre of Wales. Pony trekking is another activity that is offered nearby. Visit Builth Wells, the annual site of the Winter Fair, Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, and Spring Festival. Alternatively, a beautiful drive will take you 34 miles to the Welsh shore.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the holiday park ever time in different lodges all excellent this is the smallest lodge we have stayed in but it was just for me and my wife and again if itâs piece and quiet you want this is the place everything you need is in the lodge this is the perfect retreat

The hottub this year was no where near as good as the previous 2, a great trip away just disappointed as we know how good it can be

Could have done with a doormat inside, not just outside, and lacked the flame effect fire in the property description, which would have added a warmer feel and focal point. That said, really very minor points, we will definitely be going back.
