  We recently stayed in this lovely home for five nights at the end of a two week UK holiday visiting friends in Scotland.

  After spending time on the road in different hotels each night we were so happy to be able to use Sykes Cottage as our base. With three grown up children it is hard to find suitable accommodation that provides enough space for everyone. Thankfully with the five bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms there was space were perfect for all of us. We were even able to accomodate close family from Europe. It was the perfect space for us to be able to share time together. As we live in Australia we don't see our family from Europe and UK very often so it was so special to be able to spend five days together. The location was perfect as it was only a few hundred metres from pubs, cafes, the high street, Sainsburys, Aldi and my favourite the M & S food hall! Everything was within walking distance, including the beach front and one of the best fish and chip shops! We decided to cook a couple of meals and the kitchen provided everything we needed to enjoy home cooking. Even though we are from Australia (& have the best beaches!) we loved that we could walk to the beach and the piers. Even though our kids are all young adults they still loved the novelty of the English pier arcades. The house was very clean, tidy and super comfortable. We had a very minor issue at the start and Helen was super helpful and very responsive, so it was resolved quickly. I would absolutely recommend this house for anyone needing space and a great location. If we return to Lytham St Annes, this is where we will be staying.

  Sea La Vie is a very comfortable, cosy, beautifully renovated and decorated holiday home from home.

  All creature comforts have been thought of by the very friendly and accommodating owner Nic. Very warm, owner keeps it at a very good temperature and was happy to increase it a bit when temperature dropped on first night (outside ). We had a really good weekend stay. Very well equipped large spacious kitchen and comfortable dining/living area. Liked the flat screen, there’s several throughout house to accommodate all the guests. The upper gallery living room is stunning and great for amazing sunset/rise views. Double en-suite and kitchenette is well thought out. Lovely big walk in shower which was good for anyone who finds climbing in and out of a shower over bath. We all enjoyed our rooms and stay. Will definitely book again. Great location right on St Anne’s on Sea front. Good amenities close by, The Beach Cafe and Lytham restaurants. Lots of places of interest to visit, like George Fornby’s house.   We had a great short stay in St Anne’s.

  Orchard Lodge is a lovely property with everything you could need, a real home from home experience, the property is large, very clean and close to a lot of local amenities, a short walk to the pier, beach, shops and a park. We would definitely stay here again the owners have thought of everything even a welcome snack which was greatly appreciated. There was 9 of us staying at this lovely house, including 3 Grandchildren, there was more than enough room for everyone to do their own thing. Great communication with the owners. Parking is on the street outside which was busy first thing in the morning and late in the evening this was not a problem for us (we was able to move the car once a space became available) as the local amenities are great so we didn’t need to drive out of the area.

  Jasmine cottage is a delightful property, in an excellent location in St.

  Annes. Although on a main road it was very quiet as its set at the back of a four storey house. Parking arrangements were on the front forecourt. The bed was very comfortable and there was adequate drawers/wardrobe space The living room/diner was nicely decorated with a large comfy 3 settee couch, small table for dining and the property very clean. The kitchen was galley style off the living room and was well equipped. The bathroom was as described and clean and plenty of towels were provided The property is very close to Ashton park which for us was a bonus. We met the owner who was welcoming and showed us around the property on arrival, We would most certainly like to return as our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

  Huge disappointment.

  The property smelt badly of damp and mustiness mainly due to internal windows opening on to a blocked off conservatory, which was filled with junk. We also had to re-wash a few of the towels as they smelt too. Whilst the property is well maintained, not all areas were thoroughly cleaned - build up of dust on skirting boards etc. Sadly our main issue was the functionality of the lay out. As we were unable to open the internal downstairs bedroom window due to the awful smell, the bedroom was unusable. We had to move mattresses upstairs and slept in the lounge. On the positives - this house is in a fantastic location, has plenty of parking, and the views from the balconies are some of the best in the entire area.
