  We had a wonderful time at Estuary View!

  The house was beautiful. It was so clean when we arrived and was exactly as presented by Skye Cottages. It was incredibly well stocked with a kitchen full of all the utensils needed to create meals during the week. The garden is absolutely beautiful and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the summer evenings. The house is full of little touches that bring a smile to your face, from messages on the garden steps to beautiful photographs of the surrounding area and surf memorabilia on the walls. The location is perfect! Just a 15 minute walk from the awesome Fistral Beach, a must visit for surfers! The house also has a view of the Estuary and you can walk down there to take in the views and splash around! The owners, Sam and Amy, are clearly hands on. They email and message before your visit and are very responsive should you have any queries whilst you are in their property. They clearly value those who holiday in their home and aim to make the experience is seamless as possible. They have also put a lot of work into making their home unique, comfortable, and in keeping with local traditions making for an exceptional holiday base that inspires you to soak up the beach life. I cannot thank Sam, Amy, and Skye Cottages enough for providing such a wonderful base for our holiday and cannot wait to visit again next year.

  We had a truly wonderful week at lovely Estuary View.

  The owners Sam and Amy were perfect hosts, extremely warm and welcoming, great communication and everything has been so carefully thought of and provided to ensure guests have a comfortable, relaxing stay. We have stayed in Newquay countless times but if like us you enjoy having everything close by to enjoy but like coming home to enjoy peace, quiet and relaxation then Estuary View is located perfectly for this. Estuary View is located in a very quiet and peaceful location which made our time here ever more enjoyable. We enjoyed the sound of bird song in the wonderful garden and Maximus our Maltese Terrier thought he was in heaven having such a wonderful garden to enjoy. The house itself was immaculate, kept spotlessly clean and I’m more than a little over fussy, everything you could want was provided for and the added touch upon arrival of a hamper of goodies was a touching and kind thought and very much appreciated. We rarely ever consider returning to the same place twice but most certainly will be repeat guests at Estuary View. Thank you Sam and Amy for special memories made to cherish all made evermore special by home owners that have put so much thought, care and effort into ensuring their guests have a home away from home stay.

  This is a characterful cottage in an ideal location for exploring the northern beaches of Cornwall, close to Newquay and Padstow, located in a lovely village with a great beach only a 5 minute drive away.

  Nearby airport is not an issue. The cottage is well equipped for any holiday, lovely large open fireplace in lounge, good sized kitchen which is part of an extension, great utility room which would be great for coming back to, after a wet day out, nice use of surfboards to decorate the property along with some nice artwork on the walls, great large dining room table, large wet room downstairs with OK shower (though slow to drain) nice garden space at the front of the property. The house is let down by being tired in places - upstairs bathroom is desperately in need of an update eg. Discoloured toilet seat making you feel uncomfortable and clearly there used to be a shower over bath but is now a hand held shower, red sofa in lounge has clearly seen better days, carpets have a grubby feel, the two fridges both look old eg no door trays in kitchen fridge suggesting they were broken, strange use of wooden boxes in fire place, no welcome guide to tell you what to do with recycling waste or where your nearest GP, vet is etc. Overall this was a good place to explore the beauty of Cornwall in a cottage that grows on you over the week despite it being tired in places and in need of an update.   This property is just perfect, so clean and so homely.

  Iv never stayed in such a comfortable home. Everything you could possibly want and more. The welcome pack and welcome note is just a very lovely touch. The property is in a superb position to walk to Newquay or to walk to Crantock along the Gannel at low tide, a dog walkers heaven. The owners are so helpful before you arrive and the holiday brochure they leave is just so useful it has everything you will need to make your holiday stress free, from all the instructions on how to use all the kitchen appliances to places to eat and drink, to emergency vets. And if there,s still something you need to know then the owner,s phone number is there for you. I carnt wait to get back to Estuary View its the nicest holiday let wev ever stayed in and we have been coming to Newquay for 20 years Thank you Amy and Sam for sharing your home and making our week in Newquay extra special Sandra and Graham

  We had an amazing few days in Tre barn and were so sad to leave!

  It was beautifully decorated and furnished. The high ceilings with wooden beams and the wooden flooring was just beautiful. With lovely little touches and details, such as motion sensor light in the bathroom, plenty of hooks to hang coats etc, prosecco chilling on arrival. The super king bed was the comfiest bed we've ever slept in! The location was perfect - lovely and quiet but close to get into Crantock and Holywell for the beaches but not far to drive into Newquay either. We found the barn super dog friendly and our dog settled in straight away - dog towels provided, biscuits, dog bowl. The astroturf grass and enclosed garden were a huge bonus for us with the dog - and something we find hard to find when looking for holiday cottages!! We couldn't fault Tre at all and will most certainly be back - we are already looking at when to book again!
