  Garttee Cottage was in a great location. The reason for scoring is as follows. The garden could be lovely but access is difficult so we didn’t use it. Maybe some more accessible steps and/or pretty up the front garden? The soft furnishings were okay but the sofa has seen better days! The water pressure was excellent. The cottage had everything we needed. Minimalist but we like that. One small point, you can’t check in until 5pm which seems very late considering the cost and the local shop closes at 5pm so at least leave some tea bags and milk on arrival for guests. A nice gesture or move check in to 4pm which is more usual for similar rentals. Thank you for a great stay.

  The views of the Atlantic from the living room and 2 main bedrooms are amazing. We sat and watched the boats and yachts every day. It was very comfortable and had everything you could want or need from a holiday home. We visited Looe on a number of occasions and found walkways we didn't know existed from previous holidays, one by the coast overlooking Looe Island. Polperro is also well worth a visit. You have to park outside and walk into the village as it's too small for traffic. Overall a lovely house and we would definitely consider rebooking.

  I would like to try and keep ‘Harbourside’ as secret, that’s how wonderful the cottage is, you have the most perfect view of the estuary and Fowey. The cottage is so well equipped and we arrived to fresh flowers dotted about, local produce and the most amazing scones, the bedrooms are all spacious and super comfortable beds, as a family we can highly recommend this fantastic property in the heart of Polruan, it captured our hearts so we shall certainly return.

  We had a fabulous week at Seacroft. It is a beautiful property with everything you could need provided for. Spotlessly clean, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The views are amazing, we spent hours on the outdoor terrace watching the boating activity. We had no problem with our very small dog but larger dogs would probably need a little more outdoor space. We would most definitely stay here again without hesitation.

  This was an attractive cottage with many useful features such as a well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and plenty of storage space. Polruan is built into the hillside and this cottage reflects this with a sitting room with harbour views on the first floor and two bedrooms at street level but this does mean that there are many steps and levels inside the property and in the grounds which require a measure of agility.
