Guests say

Mill Farm - The Farmhouse receives high praise for its spaciousness, well-maintained gardens, and variety of amenities including a hot tub and snooker room. The property's owner, David, is frequently mentioned for his welcoming and helpful nature. The location offers plenty to do, with a family-friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. While most experiences are positive, there are minor concerns about maintenance and cleanliness in isolated cases.

The vast majority of reviews highlight the property's cleanliness, with guests consistently satisfied with the level of hygiene. However, one mention of 'hot tub rash' suggests a possible isolated incident affecting the score.

Guests are delighted with the property's location, citing the beautiful Peak District setting and nearby attractions. The proximity to pubs and the countryside is appreciated, although no specific negative comments provide a balanced view.

Comfort is frequently commended, with guests finding the property spacious and the beds comfy. There is a single mention of a bed size discrepancy, but overall, the sentiment is overwhelmingly positive.

Facilities like the hot tub, snooker room, and children's play area are well-received. However, there are a few reports of maintenance issues such as shower drainage and outdated televisions, which slightly lower the score.

While guests express gratitude for the welcome pack and the property's amenities, there is insufficient information to determine if such gifts are a consistent offering, and thus the score is set to null. It should be noted that while such gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed.

The photos really don’t do the outside space justice

We are 9 ‘mature’ ladies, we cannot fault the cleanliness every time for this huge house. Our only wish would be for a cover over the hot tub, as we live to go in it regardless of the weather. That would make hot tubbing in the rain a much more pleasurable experience

The whole property was perfect, spacious and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. David and Mandy were so kind and welcoming, as well as helpful when we needed it. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We would have given it 11 out of 10 if we could!
