Guests say

Croft House is a well-received cottage nestled in the Peak District, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and idyllic location. Guests appreciate the proximity to walking trails and the warm hospitality of the owners. The working dairy farm setting adds charm, with fresh milk often mentioned as a delightful touch. While the single bathroom was noted, the additional toilet was a helpful amenity. The property is considered ideal for both relaxing and exploring the local area.

Reviewers consistently mention that the cottage is 'spotlessly clean', 'very clean', and 'well maintained', indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their overall experience.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to walking trails, particularly the Tissington Trail, and its peaceful setting. The proximity to local attractions and towns like Ashbourne adds to its appeal.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with mentions of 'cosy lounge', 'comfortable beds', and a 'warm' atmosphere. The only minor drawback noted is the challenge of having one bathroom for multiple guests, but this is mitigated by an extra toilet.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being described as 'well-equipped', particularly the kitchen. The log burner and outdoor seating are appreciated. However, a few comments about the need for more wine glasses and the suggestion of an enclosed garden for dogs indicate room for improvement.

The provision of fresh milk is frequently mentioned as a thoughtful gesture, enhancing guests' stays. While such gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that these offerings may vary and are not guaranteed.

The only thing was there was only 4 wine glasses in a cottage for 6 also some Prosecco glasses would be good We had a great Sunday lunch at The Sycamore Inn in Parwich. Dog friendly and lovely food

Extremely clean and well equipped property with loads of space inside. All the rooms were good sizes unlike some holiday cottages we have stayed in. Owners are very friendly if needed but leave you to your own space if desired. We had a lovely tour when the cows were being milked. Location is great, both for driving to local places and walking/cycling along the Tissington Trail which goes right past the farm. We would stay again without hesitation.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The views from the property were lovely, and access to the Tissington Trail right on our doorstep. We would happily return there in the future.
