Guests say

Latrigg House in Keswick is praised for its excellent location, spaciousness, and ensuite bathrooms in every bedroom. Guests appreciate the property's suitability for large groups and its proximity to local attractions. While some minor issues regarding kitchen equipment, seating arrangements, and outdoor space were noted, the quick response from management to resolve problems was commended. The house's warmth and ample off-street parking are also highlighted as positives.

The property is generally described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests noting its spotless condition. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as a slow-draining bath and a woodlouse problem in one bathroom, which slightly affected the score.

The location is highly praised for its convenience, being within walking distance to Keswick town centre, parks, and local attractions. The off-street parking is also appreciated, contributing to the high score.

Guests find the bedrooms comfortable and the presence of ensuite bathrooms a plus. However, some guests noted that the mattresses were too soft, and the lounge seating was insufficient for larger groups, affecting the comfort level.

The house is equipped with modern appliances and each room has a TV, but guests reported issues with kitchen equipment, inadequate dining space for larger groups, and some maintenance concerns like sticking doors and problematic showers. These issues have led to a moderate score.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Warm, spacious and comfortable with more than enough room for ten adults attending a family wedding.

However, asking us to clean the place to a standard we found it is unacceptable. They have cleaners and we paid a lot of money. Only having access to the property on day 1 at 16:00 and asking us to leave by 09:00 on departure is unacceptable, when the standard is 10:00am.

Onsuites in all bedrooms were modern and spacious. Ample room in the lounge for our party of 8 adults and 2 dogs. Lovely big kitchen and large table, had everything we needed to enjoy our week away.
