Chipping Sodbury is a delightful medieval market town, situated at the foot of the south Cotswolds, in Gloucestershire. The long market square is home to a range of independent shops and numerous 17th century Cotswolds stone buildings. Just 12 miles away from Bristol and 15 miles away from Bath, the town also makes for a great base from which to embark upon enjoyable days out in both cities. The city of Bristol is world-renowned as a port and has a wide range of museums highlighting the city's history. Step on board the world's first great ocean liner, Brunel's SS Great Britain, in Bristol's historic Harbourside or visit Bristol Museum & Art Gallery which features outstanding collections of art and archaeology, geology and natural history. The Roman city of Bath is also steeped in culture and is a World Heritage City, home to the fabulous Roman Baths, a range of museums and the Botanical Gardens. With lots to do and see in the town and beyond, Chipping Sudbury is a wonderful location to visit at any time of the year.

Had a great few days. The only suggestion I can make is that the TV desperately needs updating to a smart TV.

??? The whole cottage is is in need of some tender care and a DEEP DEEP clean. The chairs are uncomfortable stained cushions and mats stained. and in need of a good clean. Who leaves a green scouring sponge and dirty dishcloth for the next guests to use. The frying pan more bent and stained than you can imagine. The oven glove left was disgusting and just fit for the bin. Every door the runners on the back thick of dust. And the big beams in main bedroom are covered in 1 inch of cacked dust the only thing missing was the birds nest. The patio could be lovely if powered washed and moss removed. Would have been nice to be able to make a drink on arrival but the only thing in cupboards was packets of food clearly left from previous guests , a few tea bags and milk would have been nice. Have in stayed at a few holiday cottages can only say (as our first Sykes )if this is there standard will be the last.
