An outstanding stone barn conversion, in the small hamlet of Tatham on the rural outskirts of Bentham, 8 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. Lovingly converted and set in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse, this delightful property sits between the dairy and the farmhouse and boasts exposed beams, underfloor heating, three bathrooms and fabulous countryside views with the magnificent Three Peaks dominating the skyline. With great walking, cycling and wildlife spotting available from the doorstep, this is the perfect home from home. A range of local towns with great amenities are nearby, such as Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle and Ingleton, whilst the Cumbrian town of Kendal is within easy reach. An ideal base for a relaxing holiday!
High above the traditional Yorkshire market town of Bentham, the tiny hamlet of Tatham sits on the edge of Burnmoor overlooking The Great Stone of Fourstones - an Ice Age relic which marks the boundary between Lancashire and Yorkshire. The cottage is absolutely perfect - immaculately clean, very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for Xmas and a stunning sitting room - the perfect setting for our Xmas dinner! Our dog loved the garden and we loved the fire - thank you so much. We will definitely be back!
