The location is ideal for exploring South Wales, with local amenities and attractions within easy reach. Some guests mention issues with neighbour's dogs and suggest minor improvements, but overall experiences are positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The majority of guests find the property to be spotlessly clean and well-presented, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests have noted areas that could benefit from deeper cleaning, slightly impacting the overall perception of cleanliness.

The property is situated in a charming town, convenient for local shops and the castle, with easy access to beaches and towns. Some guests have noted the occasional difficulty with parking and the presence of neighbour's dogs as minor drawbacks.

Guests frequently comment on the comfortable furnishings, cosy atmosphere, and quiet environment. A few guests have suggested improvements such as better mattresses and brighter lighting to enhance comfort further.

The property is celebrated for its well-equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, and additional amenities like WiFi and entertainment options. Some maintenance issues, such as the need for blackout curtains and a more reliable TV, have been mentioned.

The welcome pack is consistently mentioned as a delightful and thoughtful touch, although it's important to note that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed. The provision of local information and the owner's responsiveness also reflect a considerate approach to guest hospitality.

3 televisions a bonus. Comfortable large beds. Unfortunately as mentioned by a previous visitor, the damp/ earthy smell in dining room meant we ate in the kitchen.

On arrival at the house it was clear that there was a servere damp issue in the hallway. Overall, the house was dark, dated, and smelt of cigarette smoke throughout. There is a bird in an aviary next-door which calls out 24/7 which we found quite disturbing. Furthermore, the garden is split into two separate spaces which was not clearly explained on the advert. The house is well-equipped and there is plenty of space, however, the beds were terribly uncomfortable. The whole street experienced a power outage whilst we were there and although we appreciate this can't be helped but it was rather an inconvenience. On the day of departure, we left the house in an immaculate condition and even left a tip for the cleaners which we don't think they received as the owner was peering through the window before out departure time which made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here.
